Union for Reform Judaism President Rabbi Eric Yoffie criticizes those in the Jewish community demonizing Barack Obama as anti-Semitic.

Eric Yoffie is against religious monopolies, and feels that Jewish life in Israel suffers with the government coerced by Orthodox policies.

In the United States, the Orthodox community has become insular, per Rabbi Yoffie, and has been unwilling to work toward K'lal Yisrael.

While contact between Jewish movements at the US national level is "nonexistent," Rabbi Yoffie takes heart in local cooperative efforts.
